The Country Wide Care Network (CCN) hosted it's fifth annual Charity day on Tuesday, which saw a number of individuals and companies across the mobility and care sector join together to raise money for worthwhile causes.
This year's event took place in Warwickshire, and MIP's very own Customer Services Manger Shona and Business Development Manager Steve kindly volunteered their services to represent MIP on the day.
It was a cold, wet June morning but the rain held off long enough for the group to enjoy an afternoon of Rally Karting, Quad Biking and Axe Throwing as part of a team, in an effort to win the coveted CCN Charity Shield. Rumour has it, our Shona is not only a demon on the quad bike, but also a dab hand with an axe, so the rest of the UK team be warned!
The chosen charity this year was Cerebral Palsy Charity, Bobath Children's Therapy Centre Wales and with winners on the day nominating additional charities of their choice, the money raised went to a number of good causes.
Congratulations to the CCN on a fantastic event, and to all those who took part.
