MIP UK is proud to announce the launch of our new Cromptons Healthcare by MIP Ready-to-Go Patient Specific Slide Sheet Pack - Without Handles, which is now available to order from stock. The new pack features two flat slide sheets without handles that measure 200 x 100cm. This is a sister product to the existing Ready-To-Go Slide Sheet Pack with handles.
Our Ready-to-Go Slide Sheet Packs are a convenient solution to moving and handling, where we understand that time is often scarce in the care environment and slide sheets may not always be immediately at hand when needed. Our packs include two flat patient specific slide sheets, one red and one yellow. The “yellow on the bed and slide the red” aids the carer in identifying which slide sheet they are gripping, as well as being a helpful reminder to use flat slide sheets as a pair. Also included with the pack is a Slide Sheet Storage Bag, which can be hung at the end of a patient’s bed, so it is readily available when needed. The slide sheet bag has space to write on the patient’s name and bed location , this will help prevent cross-contamination between patients.
Our Cromptons Healthcare by MIP Patient Specific Slide Sheets are made from Transtex, a specially developed lightweight fabric that is silicone coated on both sides to provide a slick, low friction finish for easy patient movement and turning.
